For Liwan Residence, the story began with a simple architectural idea: true living starts from within.

Inspired by the traditional Arabic iwan, where the interior was not just a space but the heart of daily life, the project was shaped around the relationship between privacy, balance, and the way spaces connect.

From that inspiration, Liwan became more than a name.

It became the foundation of the project’s narrative: a residential experience designed from the inside out, where spaces form around a central sense of calm, movement flows naturally, and every architectural element contributes to a more intimate way of living.

The concept was then translated into a refined communication direction rooted in Arabic identity, while maintaining a contemporary and premium tone.

The narrative positioned Liwan as a modern interpretation of the spirit of the Arab home, expressed through thoughtful language, spatial storytelling, and a strong sense of place.

Located in West Cairo on Al Wahat Road – Green Belt, within the first villa zone on Al Wahat Road, Liwan extends the concept into a low-density residential setting built around standalone and twin villas.

Its location, planning, and surrounding lifestyle were presented as part of one complete story centered on privacy, accessibility, and elevated living.

The result is a project story where architecture and identity move in the same direction from the inside outward, creating a contemporary residential experience inspired by a timeless cultural idea.
